It’s a great opportunity to try out Amazon Music while essentially getting Amazon’s most popular smart home device for free. The Echo Dot is the entry point to the smart home and even the smart ecosystem. The device unlocks the capabilities of Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa, which can set alarms, play music, provide morning weather forecasts, adjust the thermostat, and more. Normally, these two are $48.98, so if you’ve been thinking about getting one, that’s a pretty big price cut.
