Bills vs Titans: Live updates, TV, live, odds on ‘Monday Night Football’ opener

In the AFC heavyweight fight, the Bills struck the first blow Monday night against the visiting Titans. Buffalo went into halftime with a 17-7 lead, buoyed by an ebullient crowd at Highmark Stadium.

Both teams scored in the opening game. The Bills quickly made it 7-0 on Reggie Gilliam’s 11-yard touchdown catch. The Titans responded when Derrick Henry found salary from two yards out. However, Henry didn’t have much success the rest of the second half as he only ran for 12 yards on eight carries.

With Henry neutralized, the Bills dominated the second quarter. They regained the lead with a 49-yard field goal by Tyler Bass midway through the quarter. After Buffalo’s defense forced a quick 3-pointer, Josh Allen, who threw for 203 yards in the first half, hit Jack Cuomoro’s 40-yard strike before a two-minute warning. The big play sent Allen’s four-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Diggs to extend Buffalo’s lead to double digits.
