Disney has asked a court to compel Reddit and Google to find out who leaked transcripts weeks before the release of the latest Marvel movie.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Fever premiered last month, but not before dozens of pages of dialogue were posted online and revealed key story details.
The 63-page transcript is shared as a Google Docs file at Reddit Community page dedicated to sharing and discussing leaks and rumours Miracle Before the movie was released.

In an effort to find out who was behind the leak, Disney has asked a California court to issue a subpoena forcing Google and Reddit to share any “identifying information” they have about the account responsible.
The court papers were filed by a Disney subsidiary called MVL Film Finance, which said the transcript was released “on or around” January 20.
The third Ant-Man movie, Quantum Fever, starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, hits theaters on February 17.
The transcript was posted on the MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit via an account called MSSmods, which was shared by a community moderator.
According to Variety, it features translations of the films’ Portuguese subtitles, though not in chronological order.

The subreddit has hundreds of thousands of users, but has been privatized and new members must be approved.
The Google Docs file and Reddit post were removed before either platform took action.
Reddit has not said whether it intends to comply with Disney’s request.
“Reddit is committed to protecting the privacy of our users,” a statement said.
“We have rigorous procedures in place to assess legal requirements and raise objections where appropriate.”
