Elon Musk has been heard telling French President Emmanuel Macron he’ll have to “sleep in his car” ahead of their meeting in Paris – hours after the billionaire was seen Partying in Mexico and Los Angeles.
Tesla CEO Meets Mr Macron At the Elysee Palace on Monday, as part of the French president’s efforts to attract more investment to the country.
In the shot of their encounter, Mr Musk “I had to sleep in the car” was heard saying to the French leader as they sat together.
Mr Macron quickly replied: “Yes.”
Musk then smiled awkwardly, before raising his hand to the assembled media and saying, “Hi everyone.”
The tech billionaire usually wears jeans and a T-shirt, but wore a suit during his 45-minute meeting with the French leader.
However, he does not appear to be shaved.
Hours before attending the dance music festival, Mr Musk was seen clubbing at his luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The 51-year-old was also photographed at a trance music event hosted by Bosnian-German DJ Solomun at Los Angeles’ Expo Park on Saturday night.

Musk said in Paris on Monday that he believed Tesla would make “significant investments” in France in the future, without giving a timetable.
“There was no announcement today, but I was very impressed with President Macron and the French government and their enthusiasm,” he told reporters.
The French president said in a tweet: “We talked about the attractiveness of France and the great developments in the field of electric vehicles and energy. We also talked about digital regulation. We have a lot to do.”
Mr Macron’s meeting with Mr Musk will be seen as a success for the president.
The French leader’s approval ratings have been slipping since the forced passage Plan to raise retirement age in France.
