In the early days of rap writing, Snoop Dogg borrowed a typewriter to type.
The American rapper reveals his unlikely writing instrument in an episode 85 Southern Comedy Show.
He told the host that he used to borrow a typewriter from 2Scoops or G-funk band The Dove Shack.

Noticing that 2Scoops was “organized and awful”, he concluded that he was “just trying to punch my crap out”.
“I used to type 65 words per minute,” he added.
His revelation drew laughter and disbelief from hosts, with one questioning “Snoop, are you writing rap songs on a typewriter?” and another commenting “That’s hilarious.”
Snoop Dogg says he learned to type “at a little white junior high school I went to.”
“I was one of those students – I took wood classes, metal classes, typing classes, home economics classes. I took the same different classes.
“I don’t just want to go to class with niggas and jerks and then go home and yell and get in trouble.”
Snoop Dogg appeared on the show following the release of Mount Westmore’s latest album, Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort. The group consists of hip hop veterans Too $hort, E-40, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg.
